Como todos los años llega finales de Abril y con el, el festival de Coachella. El festival mas popular de la costa oeste que tiene lugar en Indio, California. Es tan popular no solo por sus conciertos, sino por las fiestas y porque engloba un gran numero de celebridades, no solo americanas, sino de todo el planeta. / As all years when April comes to its end, the Coachella music festival start. The most popular festival in the East coast it take place in Indio, California. Is so popular no only by their concerts but also for their parties and because it put together many celebrities, not only Americans but form the entire planet.

En Coachella no solo se habla de música, sino de moda, tendencias y diversión. Por eso es tan importante, porque se ven todas las tendencias que están de moda, y las que estarán. Porque nos da una idea de como vestir de la forma mas desenfadada y divina posible. / Coachella is not only music, is fashion, trends and fun. Therefore is the importance it has, because all fashion trends are seen, the ones that are already, and the ones that will come. Because it gave us an idea of how to dress in a free-and-easy and cool way.

Vamos a ver algunas de las opciones de los looks para Coachella, o para ir lo mas tirada posible, pero siempre con estilo. Otros años, he hablado de los estilismos en si, pero esta vez (y para cambiar un poco) vamos a crear distintos grupos de prendas must have para este tipo de looks. / Let's see few options of Coachella looks, to dress the most casual, but always with style. Other years, I just have show you the street style, but now (to change a bit) is time we are going to see groups of must have pieces as a guide to dress for this kind of events.

Las prendas. / The garments.

Si hay prendas de fondo de armario, también las hay para Coachella. Piezas must have que no pueden faltar para llevar al festival. Que quien dice festival, habla de ir a la playa con los amigos, o pasar un día en el campo de la manera mas casual. / If they are must have pieces, they also are must have clothing for Coachella. Pieces that can be miss for a festival. When I speak about festival, it also means go to the beach with friends, or spend a casual day in the country.

1. El crop top. / The crop top.

Esas camisetas cortas que estan entre el sujetador y una camiseta. En Coachella triunfan porque la etiqueta del festival es "cuanta mas piel muestres mejor". / Those short t-shirts that are between a bra and a t-shirt. In Coachella they are so cool, because the etiquette of the festival says: "as much skin you show, the better".

2. Denim Shorts.

Los vaqueros cortos y una camiseta son una opción cómoda, segura y trendy. Cuanto mas cortos mejor, y sino que estén algo rotos. Una apuesta segura que te permitirá ir estilosa, trendy, y de lo mas indie. / Short jeans and a t-shirt are a comfortable, secure and trendy option. As short they are the better, if not they must be ripped. A secure bet that will let you dress stylish, trend and indie.

3. Vestido blanco. / White dress.

Es un clásico de verano, una pieza que no puede faltar en ningún armario. Para Coachella es una prenda cómoda, desenfadada, e ideal para los días soleados. / Is a summer classic, a piece that must be in any closet. For Coachella is a comfortable, relaxed and ideal piece of sunny days.

4. Vestido corto. / Short dress.

Es de esas prendas que siempre funcionan según como las combines. Son practicas, cómodas, versátiles, y femeninas. Un vestido es un aliado perfecto para hacer cualquier maleta, según como lo combines podrás lograr un estilismo u otro, e iras de lo mas estilosa y femenina, ademas de evitar las altas temperaturas. / Its' one of those garment always works, all is up of how you mix it. They are practical, comfortable, versatile and feminine. A dress is the perfect allied for any suitcase, you can match it many ways to get one look or another, you will be the most stylish and feminine, plus will avoid high temperatures.

En un principio se he relacionado con ir arreglada pero existen otro tipo de vestidos largos que evocan todo lo contrario, esos vestidos estampados de telas ligeras y desenfadados gracias al aire hippie que aportan. Quedan ideales y dan la sensación de que quien los lleva es una persona muy segura de si misma. / At first they were related to dress up but are other type of maxi dresses that evoke simplicity and casual, those print dresses with light fabrics and relaxed due to the hippie touch they have. They look great and give a self confident image to the person that wear it.

6. Monos. / Playsuits.

Son una prenda que esta muy de moda, y queda genial para lograr un look desenfadado y despreocupado. Aunque tiene un pero, es incomoda para ir al servicio, así que si quieres ir trendy y divina y optas por esta pieza ya sabes las consecuencias. / They are a fashion in clothing and it's great to get a relaxed and free-and-easy look. The only but is that is unconfortabel to go to the power room, otherwise is gorgeous, if you bet fir this piece you must agree with the consequences.

7. El toque étnico. / Ethnic touch.

Coachella es étnico, es hippie, es indie, por eso lo mas apropiado es vestir con un look que tenga algo de esto. La moda es divertida cuando juegas con ella, disfrazate, hazlo y déjate de tonterías. / Coachella is ethnic, is hippie, is indie, so the most appropriated thing is to dress as it is. Fashion is fun us you play with it, do it, disguise yourself and stop been bore.

8. El calzado. / Footwear.

8.1. Botines. / Booties.

Son cómodos, están de moda y quedan divinos para logra un look desenfadado. Con un short, un vestido, o un mono, iras ideal para pisar la alfombra verde de Coachella, o la que te apetezca. / They are comfortable, they are so in and look divine to get any relaxed look. With shorts, a dress or a playsuit you will look ideal to walk through the Coachella green carpet or what you feel like.

8.2. Sandalias planas. / Flat Sandals.

Propicias para la temporada que llega, las sandalias son lo mas deseado del verano (en cuanto ropa se refiere), ahora la tendencia son sandalias planas; altas romanas, marrones, hippies, chanclas, todo vale. / Perfect for the season that arrives sandals are the most desire summer garment, now flat sandals are in; high roman, brown, hippies, flip flops, all is welcome.

8.3. Zapatillas. / Sneakers.

Esas grandes zapatillas que estan tan de moda, no solo con estilismos desenfadados, sino con todo tipo de looks. Son ideales para estar mucho de pie o grande caminatas, y posiblemente el calzado mas cómodo para Coachella. / Those big sneakers that are so in fashion at the moment, not only for casual looks but for any style. They are perfect when you are going to stay barefoot for long, or when you are going to walk a lot, and probably the most comfortable footwear for Coachella.

La combinación de ambos tonos es elegante, estilosa, a temporal y muy favorecedora. Ademas es muy versátil, hay mil formas de llevarlos: rayas, manchas, dibujos geométricos, o simple color-block. Aunque la tendencia se centra en la idea del minimalismo; cuanto mas sencillo mejor, cuanto mas simple mas divino. / The mix of both colors is elegant, stylish, timeless and so flattering. Plus is so versatile, there are many ways to wear them: stripes, spots, geometric draws or only color-block. Victoria Caroline Adams nació el 17 de Abril de 1974 en Hertfordshire como primogénita de una familia de clase media britanica. Su madre Jacqueline era dependienta de seguros y peluquera. Su padre, Anthony era ingeniero electrónico. / Victoria Caroline Adams was born on April 17th 1974 in Hertfordshire as the first born of a media class British family. Her mother Jacqueline was a insurance clerk and hairdresser. Her father, Anthony was an electronic engineer.

En 1980 después de ver el musical Fama, decidió que quería dedicarse a algo parecido y convenció a sus padres para que la apuntar a la escuela de teatro Jason Theater School. En 1991 Victoria entro en un colegio de teatro independiente, Laine Theater Arts, para estudiar baile y formarse como modelo. En 1993 acudió a un casting donde buscaban chicas para cantar en un grupo musical, y tras pasar dichas pruebas en 1994 se convirtió en un miembro de las Spice Girls. / In 1980 after seen the musical Fame, she decides she want to work in something similar and convinced her parents to attend to the Jason Theater School. En 1997 empezó a salir con el famoso futbolista David Beckham después de coincidir con el en un partido benéfico de fútbol. Según cuentan fue David quien pidió acercarse a Victoria. Se casaron el 4 de Julio de 1999 en Irlanda, su hijo mayor Brooklyn tenia 4 meses ese día. En la actualidad tienen otros 3 hijos. / In 1997 she started dating the football player David Beckham after happend to meet at a charity football match. Was David who wanted to meet Victoria. They got married on July 4th 199 in Irland, their old son Brooklyn was 4 month old that day. Now they have 2 other sons and a daughter.

En 2006 desfilo para Roberto Cavalli en Milán. Ha sido estilista de Katie Holmes, de echo hizo de editora de moda para un reportaje de Katie en Harper's Baazar en el numero de marzo de 2006. Ese mismo año lanzo su firma de ropa vaquera, DVB Denim. En 2007 fue jueza de London's annual Graduate Fashion Week para elegir al ganador del Premio River Island Gold Award. Aunque su estilo siempre ha tenido un toque british, Victoria lo ha ido modificando con el tiempo. Antes era adicta a las camisetas y los vaqueros, ahora los cambia por pantalones de traje y camisas. El estilo de Victoria es clasico, chic y estiloso pero nada arriesgado. El minimalismo parace ser el factor comun entre todos sus estilismos, eso si, nunca olvida los accesorios. Pero a la vez experimenta con piezas nuevas, sabe como renovar su look cuando quiere. / The style of Victoria is classic, chic, and stylish but not risky at all. Minimalist is what we see more in her looks but she never miss the accessories. She also experiment with new pieces, she knows how to renew her look when she wants.

Con el paso del tiempo se a relajado y busca prendas mas comodas y relajadas. Se trata de deportivas sin cordones que se ponen como un zapato. Son mas fáciles de combinar que cualquier otra zapatilla. Quedan ideales con un traje de chaqueta, una minifalda o un vestido femenino. Y para un look mas casual, pontelas con un vaquero ancho y un jersey de lino, iras ideal! / They are those sneakers without cordon that is wear as a shoe. Por casualidad pero con todo su sentido este es el mes del tejido vaquero en el blog. Debido a la inmigración europea a Estados Unidos en el siglo XIX, este estampado se trasmitió a las nuevas generaciones que empezaron a plasmarlo en las prendas de ropa corrientes. No te voy a contra su historia, ni su evolución porque odio ser repetitiva, pero puedes léelo en el post que hice sobre ellos el año pasado, aquí. / I am not going to tell you how it was born, or about its history because I already did last year in a post about it, hear.

El mono es un prenda muy especial, por lo que tienes que tener muy en cuenta tu figura antes de nada. / Jumpsuit is a special garment, you have to be aweared of how is your body shape before you decide anything else.

- Si tienes bastante pecho y culo, llévalo con cinturón, hará que tu cintura se acentué./ If you have a big bust and bum wear it with a belt, it will emphasize your waist.

- Si tienes bastante pecho y culo opta por prendas lisas, y elige tonos complementarios u opuestos, es decir, blanco y negro, morado y naranja, rojo y rosa. Existen un gran numero de monos con estas combinaciones. Pero sino te ves, elige uno en color negro y listo. / If you have a big bust and bum go for stright clothing and chose color block garments such as black and white, purple and orange, red and pink. And if you just want one color, black will do.

- Si eres bajita opta por llevarlos con tacones o unas bonitas cuñas. / If you are small or have short legs wear them with heels or wedges.

Busca uno sencillo o un poco recatado (intenta evitar espaldas al aire y un escote demasiado pronunciado), unos zapatos que te vistan (mejor tacon) y lista. / Day after day we have to decide what to wear to work, it seems silliness but if you love fashion and like to dress nicely is not. Curiosamente, para nosotras salir a cenar es un evento social en el que valoramos mas el lugar, el vestir y el como nos relacionamos, mientras que para ellos es mas importante el comer y posteriormente con quien se va, curioso no? Por eso, no dejes de ir divina a esa cena y opta por un mono entallado o ponle un cinturón, un blazer o chaquetita fina para combatir las temperaturas nocturnas o del restaurante, unos taconazos y un bolso de mano. Si tienes tobillos finos, arremángate un poco el mono, iras divina! / Oddly enough for us (girls) dining out is a social event where we value more the place, what to wear, and how we socialize, meanwhile for the boys is more important the food and after it the company, bizarre no? So be sure to go divine and chose for a fitted jumpsuit or were it with a belt, a blazer or light knit cardigan to avoid low night or the restaurant own temperatures, a pair of heels and a clutch. Si se trata de un gran evento y estas aburrida del clásico vestido opta por un mono arreglado o con algún estampado especial. Hay piezas divinas en seda, gasa o raso que te harán brillar. Asi mismo, ella misma admite, que la coleccion de pre-fall 2014 esta influenciada por un cuadro del pintor Julian Schnabel: "Como coleccionista de arte David y yo, compramos una de sus piezas. Me encantas sus colores, como ve los colores. El cuadro que tenemos me ha inspirado para la paleta de colores de la coleccion." / As all and any designers, Victoria looks at her enviroment, the archictecture, the art, trevelling, the forms. Not to be mistaken for her first influence come from Roland Mouret but as time pass by (as happends with everything) it has been changed. She admittes that her pre-fall 2014 collection is clear inspired by a Julian Schnabel painting: "As art collector David and me bought one of his pieces. I love his color and I love how he sees color. That painting particulary inspired me for the color pattern of the collection."

Respecto a su proceso creativo cada temporada crea distintos tablones con detalles que la inspiran. Añade: "Hago muchas compras vintage y voyta las librerias. Me gusta retarme a mis misma con la proporcion y el volumen, asi que cada temporada me gusta mirar cosas que naturalmente no vestiria." / About her creative process each season she creates a lot of different mood boards. She added: "I do a lot of vintage shopping and go to libraries; I like to challenge myself with proportion or volume, so each season I like to look at things that might not naturally be things I would wear."

Si fueran seres animados serian híbridos, si, como el personaje de Tyler en Los Diarios Vampiricos, y es que si nacimiento se debe a la mezcla de dos zapatos. Los noventa continúan siendo la fuente de inspiración para las ultimas tendencias, después de los crop tops, los zuecos son los reyes de esta temporada, y es que ya lo fueron también en los 90's. Recuerdo como me encantaba el look de Sarah Michelle Gellar en Se lo que hicisteis el ultimo verano con esos zuecos marrones que, realmente si te fijas, son horrorosos. Nostalgícamente pienso en los que tenia en mi armario, igualitos pero en negro, y me encantaban. / 90's are still the sources of inspiration for the lastest trends, after crop top, mules are the kings of this season, they also were in the 90's. I remember how I use to like the look of Sarah Michelle Gellar in I know what you did last summer with those brown mumes that if you really take a close look are horrible. Manolo Blahnik recuerda en los 80 era uno de los accesorios al que mas tiempo dedicaba en su estudio, tal como comento en Mayo de 2012 a WMagazine "en los 80's solo hacia zuecos", y ademas los considera un tipo de calzado exquisito: "cuando andas con ellos lo haces de una forma diferente. Para mi es muy sexy, porque tienes que encontrar tu equilibrio. Los reinas egipcias podían andar con zuecos de oro y marfil, te lo imaginas, click click. Y Madame de Pompadour andaba por Versalles con sus zuecos, click click... puedes pensar en algo mas exquisito?". / But mules weren't invited in the 90's. Seguramente se te habrá pasado por la cabeza, en algún momento, la idea de que no son para ti, que son cero estéticos y que no te ves con ellos. Ciertamente no eres la primera, no dan buena imagen a las piernas, visualmente cortan el pie, y tienen un aire masculino y de abuela que los delata. Esa pieza básica que tanto nos gusta y que nos viene como anillo al dedo cuando hace un poco de fresco. 1. Falda por encima de la rodilla. / Over the knee skirt.

La falda por encima de la rodilla es la mas adecuada para ir a trabajar. La mas popular es la falda lápiz, porque estiliza mucho y es la prenda que caracteriza a las secretarias. Las rebajas de verano, tanto en el continente Europeo, como en el Americano, empiezan entre el 20 de Junio y el 1 de Julio, y terminan en el mes de Agosto.
